The world of sport combat has never been more central in the public arena as it is today. No longer sectioned off to the 'Sport Section' of your favourite newspaper, Martial Art Combat is now a mainstream topic for sure.  The benefit's that social media can offer to up and coming fighters are of a more flexible nature and can show the organic nature of the the individuals involved and the the preparation and effort they make in order to be the best they can be.  We took a look at one of those names 'Liam Dale' as he prepares his students in the last training session before the head off to the WAKO World Championships,  arguably the worlds largest kickboxing event .  Which is carried out over 9 days and includes Champions form across the globe.  A two time Gold medallist, Dale says ”These are the games, the ones to win.  The Olympics of Kickboxing.  All kickboxers know this.”.

Three of his students are competing at world level for the first time.  Eoin Glynn – Minus 63kgs and Marissa McMillan at -65kgs and Emma Dignam – 50kgs.  For Dale, "this really is a practical example of what one can achieve though discipline and effort. I have said this before,  we are absolutely brimming with potential. All we have to is apply ourselves and over time, through our own efforts we will achieve great things”.

After only one year competing, these three pugilists are now ready to present at the top table of martial arts. Proof indeed that attention to detail, self belief and diligence as dale exposes will bring you to a very high level indeed.  Asked how they would do.  Dale replied,  “This last year has been a great experience for all of us.  Now its time to enjoy the moment".
